Carson Pro Series MagniFlash Aspheric LED Lighted Magnifier and Flashlight Review

The MagniFlash Magnifier is part of Carson Optical’s NEW Pro Series. It is a LED lighted Magnifier and Flashlight combination. The MagniFlash contains an aspheric lens which allows for a much sharper image with little to no distortion compared to a typical magnifier containing a double convex lens. The MagniFlash comes with a neck strap and case. The MagniFlash is lightweight and compact enough to take with you anywhere. Please note that you will have to hold the magnifier closer to a subject with increased magnification. Otherwise, the subject will appear to be out of focus. The higher the magnification, the less total surface viewing area you will be able to see. The MagniFlash magnifiers are meant for people with macular degeneration and for inspection purposes. If you are looking for a magnifier for a general reading purpose, it is recommended that you purchase something with a 2x or 3x magnification. The Pro Series MagniFlash magnifiers range from 5x (CP-16), 7x (CP-24), 9x (CP-32), and 11x (CP-40) magnifications.
